Focus on the Few Things That Matter

Few things matter than most. Excel in your career. But then remember what matters most is a growing love for the Lord that grows over a lifetime, and your faithfulness to the few people God has given you to love, and the few tasks God has given you to do.

Stop Counting and Have Fun

Stop counting: cultivate contentment for the people God has entrusted to your care. Have fun: enjoy the blessings of ministry that God gives you as a pastor.

How to Leave a Church

Consider how to let your pastors know. Don't sow division on your way out. Bless and thank people for the difference they've made in your life. Anticipate questions, and answer them beforehand.
